Life and death
two visitors in time
One is the beginning
and the other divine.
The crumbling of a mountain
to a language long dead
All things come to death
when its time comes to a head.
I see the light searching through time
traveling at speeds that are lost to mind
Does it live forever Death knocking at it door
or is it a window which life sometimes pours.
A virus or an ocean
life running deep
A moment of memory
is something to keep
A taste of tomorrow
which may never come
A tower of faith
that brings all under one.
A footstep so large
it engulfs all the sky
And the sadness it sees
can bring tears to its eyes
For a moment of greatness
in times never told
Bring knowledge of divinity
for creation to hold.
Then the apple from the tree
eaten in a grasping way
Will be understood
by the words we pray.
Then the tears from God's eyes
will rain down on Man
The focus of love
by the curious I can.
Then the puzzle of life
is complete by its means
A lover of truth
and spreader of dreams.
I picture tomorrow
but time it does end
For the front do is knocked
by Death who?s my friend.
For the things in my life
that have travel my way
Has shown me all life
in its splendid array.
