Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
In Accordance With My Dreams
You know what they say about me,
That I was born before my time.
And born puzzled.
I still seem to remain that way.
~
They visit me in my dreams,
These wayward spirits that know the way.
I follow them to a sadness that I
Can't find my way out of.
I dream in colors, very vividly,
But the girl in my dreams never really feels like me.
In my dreams, I've always had black hair.
Though normally my hair is a light brown.
So I dyed my hair black in accordance with my dreams.
And I find the spirits in accordance to my dreams.
And even though
I've slept for 5 hours,
I wake up feeling like I haven't slept at all.
