Old Fashioned Love

While dining at my favorite cafe
I was sipping a cup of tea
When I noticed an elderly couple
Sitting across from me

They seemed to talk of many things
As they looked in each others eyes
And as he gently caressed her hand
She suddenly began to cry

He leant forward and kissed her lips
As he brushed her tears away
And without a word being said
I watched them walk away

I saw them walk toward the door
As she placed her hand in his
She nestled in beside him
And gave him a gentle kiss

I could not help but smile at them
As they slowly passed me by
For I could feel their tender love
As they gazed in each others eyes
