Everlasting FaithMatthew 17:17-21 Such a faithless and perverse generation, When before Christ return in expectation; How long shall He take knowing His name? How long shall you live in guilt and shame? Because of the unbelief I shall say to you, If your faith as a mustard seed to construe; You say unto a mountain to move out yonder, It moves and nothing impossible you ponder; How did it occur without prayer and fasting? Only if our faith is strong and everlasting! We have turned away from God to much, And when we pray we have lost our touch, I say that it does not come from the heart, Talking to God through prayer to impart; After service or a prayer it is the same, Doing it over again from whence we came; Then the following Sunday we do it again, Repenting on what we done or have been; We are not Christians just one day a week, For everlasting faith daily you must seek.
