AlmostI almost get a glimpse, And almost say hello, Then just at that moment, Your picture seems to go. I almost reach and touch, And feel your warmth is here, Then just at that moment, It is nowhere near. I almost hear your voice, Filled with laughter long, Then just at that moment, The closeness goes all wrong. I almost sit and talk, And watch your growing smile, Then just at that moment, It all clicks back to file! Joy Weare. 10th October, 2004. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
