Where Jesus Will Be

From an old dusty shoe box,
long forgotten in an attic of
old…
faded pictures from the past,
a connection to long departed
souls.

Who’s that Grandma?
Grandma, Why are you crying?
My Darling, that’s your great
grandmother, my mother.
I’m crying because I miss her
so!

O’ she looks like you!
She’s very beautiful,
just like you Grandma!

Grandma, how old were you
when your mother went to heaven?
My Darling, I was just twenty seven.

Grandma, will you, Mommy and
me go to heaven too?
Yes my darling little girl.  I pray,
someday we will all three go to heaven.

O’ That will be so much fun!
You, mommy , Great
Grandma and me,
up in heaven where with
Jesus we will be.

Grandma please don’t cry.
