REMEMBER THE RUBBERBAND THEORY
Men like to be alone
To go to their caves
It doesn't mean they won't come home
It means themselves they save
They usually don't like getting too close
And when they feel they do
They retreat from those they care for most
Then later they'll come back to you
Men are like rubberbands
They stretch it until you want to snap
The testosterone commands
Sometimes they push you off their lap
To go their own way
To think and rest and beat their chest
They will come back another day
If you trust their love is best
So let your man have his cave
His silence doesn't mean he doesn't care
While he's gone your love you save
And wait in the trust he'll come back to share.
