The Wedding Vision
I attended a wedding on Saturday~~~
~~and saw a vision~~~
may I share it with you????~~~~
The Wedding Vision
Hand resting gently on her father's arm,
She stood by quietly,
As the music started that would lead
her steps toward her destiny.
Standing tall, and proud, and waiting~~~
He wiped a teardrop from his eye,
As he beheld her beauty
In her flowing gown of white.
As they reached the alter,
Her dad gently placed a kiss
Upon the cheek of his baby girl,
Then placed her hand in his.
Together they stepped up to the cross
That hung above their heads,
Their music spoke soft words of love,
Soon their vows would be said.
Some tears were shed, then soon; even more,
As he gently handed her
A handkerchief to dry her tears,
And his own, for their love so pure.
She reached for him and they embraced
Standing there at Jesus' feet.
Locked within my memory will remain:
"Jesus makes their love complete."
For
Rachelle and Chris
with all my love
karen
