Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

I wouldn't want to be me (the element)

I'm shutting down in the rain,
Letting it fully consume me
As I dream.
I wouldn't want to be me
If I couldn't dream effectively.
I wouldn't want to be me
If I abhorred the rain…

I'm not cold, just content.
I want cold earlier.
There's plenty enough time
To be cold.
I wouldn't want to be me
If I was always cold…

Some days, in winter or fall,
I get cold, wild chills
That send me into a fit of shivers,
Almost to convulsions
But that kind of cold
Comes from people.
But this rain gives me no chills.
I love the rain, ya know?
The rain, the weather never lies
Like people do.
I wouldn't want to be me
If I didn't feel this way.
