Being More Christ Like

Mark 9:39-41

No one shall do miracles in Christ's name,
Then with evil against Him for to proclaim;
Whosoever is not against us is on our part,
With proclamations coming from the heart;
Whosoever shall give you a cup of water,
Drink it in Christ's name and of the Father;
Since now you belong to Christ in Heaven,
He shall not lose his reward to be given.
So many as Christians as they claim to be,
Church every Sunday and praying a plea;
Then the same person be seen in a bar,
A little later see driving drunk in his car;
He gets home starts swearing at his wife,
The Lord's name in vain holding a knife;
You hear of this almost on a daily basis,
A Sunday Christian the other six vicious;
Why can we not be Christ like everyday,
Thanking the Father each and every way;
Reading the Gospel and praising the Lord,
Knowing in Heaven you will get a reward.
