For that is a gift she gave to me
Sweeter than the fresh Spring air
Warmer than the mid~day sun
My life has been truly blessed
When our friendship, dear Lord, begun
Words that shine like diamonds
Penned from the inks of love
So Lord, please only mold your angels
From the one you sent me from above
