Words softly rolling from your lips
Like the ocean caressing me over and over
Waves splashing up as if your hands
As I lay on the edge of your shore
Memorizing each sweet drop of your love
For you know I cherish them so
Basking in the sun of your heart
As I embrace your ebb and flow
How I long to dance within you
To feel my trembling body again refreshed
Brought back to life with your words
Washing away pain hidden in my chest
Still, Breathless now I find myself
Waiting with soft anticipation
For your water to touch my silken skin
