Visions I Can Not See
I taste the blue skied mornings
and smell the running brook
I hear the color of Nature
feeling pity for Man's book
Yet, I dream the face of Eternity
that eventually shakes your hand.
No eyes have I to see with
the darkness blinds because it can
The Quiet shouts out its name
shattering the ignorance it has brought
I taste the tears of sorrow
for the things Humanity has wrought
For blindness bring true meaning
its uniqueness in us is sown
Bringing forth tomorrow teaming
for truths to finally be known
Cry not for me for I can see
your sight lost from your path
Appreciating the little things
and hold in remembrance till the last.
For the future will always be there
to meet it you must survive
To drink the blessings of tomorrow
you have to appreciate today and be a live.
