Lengthening shadows of blue and gray
Signal the quiet ending of the day,
Spent in silent, prayerful thought
of all the things Thy Hands have wrought.
Prayer requests keep pouring in,
It's hard, Lord, to know where to begin,
For one has lost his only love,
A teen sacrifices, his life, his home.
Another seeks a surgery
So, from his pain, he is set free.
And Mother's cry for a wayward child.
It seems this world is going wild.
How Blessed to know that, in Your Hands,
The world is working according to Your Plans.
We need only spread Your Words of Praise.
We are in Your Hands during these "Last Days".
