My Daddy's KneeLord? I just wanted my daddy to hold me and put me on his knee Why did he push me away and say get the hell away from me? I'm just a little girl, doesn't he know I need my daddy so much? Oh to be held in his arms so tight and to feel his warm touch. I'm so sad, Lord? I do not understand why? Why doesn't he love me and kiss my boo boos goodbye? My daddy does not smile very much Lord, can you tell me why? Hurry please? He seems mad all the time, he yells a lot, I cover my ears and I duck and sometimes flee. I whisper to You, please Lord help my daddy why does he have to be so sad? Some days are different, he seems happy and will smile and he is glad. Could You talk to him for me Lord? Could You tell him, hey stop doing that? When I get nervous and afraid Lord I eat and he tells me I'm fat. Oh what's the use Lord in talking to You? My daddy says You are not real and I'm dumb if I believe it too. Remember Lord? When I lost my library book, that day in the snow? Oh I was so afraid, I was in big trouble and You did know. When the snow melted that spring, remember what I found? Yes, my library book in perfect condition, all safe and sound. Lord? I do not know what happened to my daddy when he was a little boy. I was thinking, maybe he was hurt so bad and maybe his daddy broke his toy? If it is ok with you Lord, I will keep praying for my daddy that You would help him, like You help me. He is my daddy and I want him to know You and to be happy and see. Thank you God and thank you Jesus, I love you too. God, Guess what? I do not have that hurt in my heart, it's gone, thank you. I will talk to you again Lord and thank you for listening to me. You pulled me up on Your lap and sat me on Your knee. Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
