There Is A Point?Yes! There a point to crying? But what does it really do? Does it make things better? And easier for me and you! Yes, tears are the healing process, And they help to ease the pain, By crying it out not bottling it up, So you see we have everything to gain! I have cried my tears until there are no more, And I have released a lot of pain too, And if I need to cry some more, Then I'll let my tears flow through. This is my way, my therapy, Eking out my pain and throwing it away, And when my tears are over with, There dawns a brand new day. I can't alter what has past, I can't reverse the hand of time, And though I would love to turn back that clock, It's impossible, but this day is mine! It's mine to start anew, So I am striving to go forward again, But I'll never lose my memories, But I will release my pain! So onward, forward and upwards the way, It's the only way to go forward, not away! Trust me, there's no point in living with grief, So I'm starting to smile again today! And though sometimes that smile will be false, And put there just for show, Trust me, and I'll tell you true… There will only be me who will know! I'm grieving for my lost father, that's true, And I am filled with insurmountable pain, But as long as I have my memories of him, I will have him in my heart all over again! I still miss him and always will. But he had to go away from me… The rhyme or reason I have no idea, The reasons are only known by He! I Love Him Still And Always Will! Because… He's My Dad!
