Looking Through My Life's Window
Summer's Farewell
The time has come for natures rest
as trees give their final show
with breath taking cloaks
as only God can bestow
It is the time of harvest
when man and beast inherently know
to gather and store
before winters first snow.
It is a time of sharing
insuring ones neighbor can make it thru
To give of ones self
Is what He asks us to do
So like the mighty trees
this is our time to shine
Give all that we can
and bask in the love of one so Devine.
So to you, Summer,
I bid farewell and sadly shed a tear
I stand here looking at the oceans shore
and pray all embrace you again next year.

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
