As the snow falls
Heavily upon the ground
The lights from the distance
Call him near,
Glaring brightly toward his eyes
The wind blows fiercely
Upon his small fragile body,
He wishes he was warm and cozy inside
The little cabin
Which stands before him,
And as he begins to step forward
He glances to his side
To see if all is safe around him,
As the snow begins to fall softer
He slowly walks
Toward the distant light
In his search for peace and calm
