Going Crazy
Her eyes keep shifting
To that soft feather pen
Her hands are twitching
To pick it up again
She laughs to herself
Remembering her promise made
That her words would silence
That very day
She looks with longing
At that box on the shelf
Thinking of her words for him
Those for herself
She knows just to touch it
Would be a promises' demise
Should heart and pen reunite?
Or should she die inside?

Deny The Heart by Mayfair
Denying the heart,
A soul withers inside.
Lost to the world,
With desire untried.
To that soft feather pen
Her hands are twitching
To pick it up again
She laughs to herself
Remembering her promise made
That her words would silence
That very day
She looks with longing
At that box on the shelf
Thinking of her words for him
Those for herself
She knows just to touch it
Would be a promises' demise
Should heart and pen reunite?
Or should she die inside?

Denying the heart,
A soul withers inside.
Lost to the world,
With desire untried.
