A God Given RightRomans 13:1-4 Let us all be subjected unto a higher power, Since no one ever supersedes the Endower; For there's no authority that is not of God, All ordered by Him who we honor and laud; Whoever is against His law is against Him, And the wrath of God will make things grim; Rulers are not causes of fear in good works, Rather to the evil hiding in caves it lurks; Having no fear of the authority go do good, And you shall have praises as you should; But if you do evil deeds then you have fear, Then the sword of His wrath is very near. Maybe we do not like government as it is, But it's a blessing of authority that's His; Whoever president is acting on His behalf, Just as a cabinet is picked as his staff; Power of authority from a higher source, As for our elections that God will endorse; That is why to vote is a God given right, To keep government good in His might.
