Complete MeA poem from the novel "The Essence of Poetry II:Gerald's Sophomore Yet Grown Poetrybook" Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham ---------------------------------------- Each night I find myself lying alone, Just hoping for a woman to call my own; Is such a goal so difficult to be met? Because nothing is as worse to regret. Complete me, Mysterious woman, make me whole; Complete me, Mysterious woman, shake my soul. Each time I close my eyes to see clearly I discern a woman as she gets near me; I always have awaken from that vision, But finding who is the lady's my mission. Complete me, Mysterious woman, fulfill my desire; Comeplete me, Mysterious woman, reveal me the fire. Each day I think about all the women, Noticing how much I have been sinning; Is there a woman who is right for me? Because meeting her I cannot foresee. Complete me, Mysterious woman, mend my heart; Complete me, Mysterious woman, send me art. Each moment I realize I am lonesome, I want share my small life with someone: I always have broken into a tear or two, But one day, I'll find myself lying with you. Complete me, Mysterious woman, you are all I see; Complete me, Because you are all I need. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
