Fantasy On Parade©

How do we put away
our childhood fantasies?
Who among us can say,
that we don't have dreams?
To grow up is not to get old,
and lose sight of little things.
For then we become cold,
and don't know what:
pleasure fantasy truly brings.
I prefer not to hide
my childish ways.
But rather show them with pride,
and save them for a rainy day!
