Away.
Upon the ground flowers bleed
A softly exhaled breath leaves
Aimlessly adrift a lifeless host
Lost about intangible dreams.
Solitude like a lifted veil
Relieved from a barren soul
No more a silence betrays
These eyes for love to behold.
This bird of spirit,liberated
Knows only but one direction
Toward the sun away from eyes
That show a dead reflection.
Upon the ground flowers bleed
A softly exhaled breath leaves
Aimlessly adrift a lifeless host
Lost about intangible dreams.
Solitude like a lifted veil
Relieved from a barren soul
No more a silence betrays
These eyes for love to behold.
This bird of spirit,liberated
Knows only but one direction
Toward the sun away from eyes
That show a dead reflection.
