Upon a ship of hope.

The deepness in your eyes
Absorbs a brilliant sunrise
A light searching for years
The birthplace of your tears.

Tears are for a life long gone
For what is left and yet to come
Yet I would collect your tears
To drink your sadness and fears.

I will be your anchor to solid ground
Assuring a delicate balance is sound
I would do this for I have been where you are
Alone without soul, listless without an anchor.

So with you I will sit forever
My stay time will not sever
Time has no meaning while we discover
The past joy in your life to recover.

A breeze of hope will take your sails
Toward a warm heart that never fails
Then we look upon this place you are
Smile and see it so distant,so far.
