Let Your Son Shine

Lord, let your Son shine
upon the beginning of my day
and with peace and great joy
help me to follow you I pray.

May the warming of my soul
be a constantly reminding grace
hold my hand tightly and help me
to feel your sweet embrace.

So when the storms of life
seem to over pour with rain
may the thunder be calmed
at the mention of your name.

Bringing a fresh scent of air
to the consequences of pain
as the warming of your Son
dries up life's rain.
