MUST GET HOME

V-1
Now, he said I must get home,
For my wife is: all alone.
He begin to tell his story,
of his wife in all of love's glory.
As the tears begin to drop,
For a moment he had to stop.
as he caught his breathe,
came the memory of her death.

Chorus
You know the depth of his pain,
was the reason for his rain?
His wife is home: all alone.
now he had to get home.

V-2
Yes, a moment he took,
before again he spoke.
Yes, my wife has died,
you can see, the tears I cried.
Over her, for her, they are real,
over this loneliness, I feel.

Chorus
You know the depth of his pain,
was the reason for his rain?
His wife is home: all alone.
now he had to get home.

Bridge
She is still walking all around,
in any room at all she could be found.

V-3
Yes, he must get home,
For very long, he couldn't stay gone.
For her love in that home was still strong,
That is why he must get home.

Chorus
You know the depth of his pain,
couldn't be washed away by his rain?
His wife is home: all alone.
Now he had to get home.

Now he had to get home.
