Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

FunHouse Mirrors

I see things
As though I were looking through funhouse mirrors.
Everything is always distorted,
Nothing is ever clear.
The visions of love are
Half truths and broken.
The views of hate
Are uglier than most people see.
The image of sadness
Is a nasty disease.
And seeing anger
Is like seeing floods of lava.
Everything looks deformed.
Morals are either ruined
Or nonexistent.
Tears that fall
Are enough to drown oneself.
Inner beauty seems to be
Mocked and disregarded.
Intelligence looks good but is
Full of indifference.
All delineation is warped but
Unlike everyone else
Who chooses to ignore hardships,
I seem to notice them all.
I am forever noticing
Life viewed via
Funhouse mirrors.
