Live Your LifeNo more days for you that are filled with pain,agony or strife It's taken you some years for you to figure out how to live your life Rememberin the days of how things should be,could be,or use to be The days i can reflect on thinking about the friends that were with me We use to hang out in the wee hours of the dark filled nights Remember how we had to stop our crazy homie from gettin into another fight Time does marches on and it marches accordingly as everyone has a different beat No thought of what tomorrow may bring as we walk all night sometimes up and down the same street There's so much to do in the coming days ahead for so many of us Push along and stay focused enough so that one day you will not become part of the dust The dust or the ashes that fill our filthy city streets each and every day Their is no time to sit back and remorse of what we could have done if we just decided to go out and play It's days and times like this that will make us feel as though we are the closest of friends Really all you have to do is look real close at how the best in life goes about their day Then and only then will you be able to see what it takes to make it to the end For as many blue and dark skies that pass by in your life,you too will come to that place where you learn how to pray Set forth your goals and plans that you have laid out for your life Remain focus and strong because for your dreams to come true their will always be a fight It's not that your dreams do not want the chance to be able to see you They are anxiously awaiting your arrival so they can bow down to you You have worked hard in this life and you played the game of survival So make sure that you continue to do your best so that everyone can see you upon your arrival Forget about the pain,agony,or grief that you had along the way because now its time for happiness The life you now own will see to it that you make it through any stormy night For this is the day that you have finally discovered how to,"Live Your Life" Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
