Walking through the forest
you will see one slightly bowed Oak tree.
The wind blows in the storms
against the Oak tree.
He bows slightly as if to acknowledge
the wind's existence,
as if to let the wind know how strong he is,
his branches reach out to embrace nature,
The forces of nature rarely can do more
than lift his leaves, and scatter them,
so he can touch the earth as far
as the wind carries his leaves.
For they are a part of him.
His roots are deeply embedded
in the ground.
To be a Oak tree ,standing alone strong,
bowing before the forces of nature,
as the wind blows,
he stands strong ,un-yielding .
The one tree in the forest
that can stand alone.
The Oak Tree.
