Why is there no one for my defense?
Does my death really make sense?
I haven't much time left,
The morals are all a pretense,
I'm all by myself,
tomorrow I'll be past tense,
I wish there was a white knight,
to slay the dragon,
So someday I can ride in a little red wagon.
Or play with a puppy with his tail wagging.
I wish someone would fight the dragon,
Maybe I'm a little princess, or a prince,
Why is there no one for my defense?
Where is the happy ending to my fairy tale?
Am I a child without a prayer?
A mother's tears will fall behind a veil,
I may be a princess with a ribbon in my hair,
I'm a undefended small baby girl,
Or a little boy that may never see this world,
I'm a fairy tale child,
If only you had seen me smile,
As beautiful as a flower growing wild,
if only you had waited a little while
