 Heroes One and All

As the flags slowly unfurl,
and drums softly echo from
the distant hills,
A hero is laid to rest…
yet another of America's
best.

The Honor Guard fires
the last salute, and the
bugler plays taps, mimicking
the soft sounds of a distant flute.

Hallow be this last call,
for here lies an American
patriot, who fought for us all.
