This Valley of Death
Lord, You
are my Shepherd,
You give
me all that I need
You lead
me in the way
I will walk,
and my soul
You restore and feed
You lead
me down the paths
that are right
and deliver me from
the enemy's hand
Though, I walked
in the valley
of the shadow of death,
this was not
a place
to put up a tent,
to settle in this land
Even though,
this valley
was a place I
experienced and walked
I knew You
were with me Lord
in all
of our many talks
Lord, I did not
have to fear
any evil
because You
were
with me
You brought me
through this
valley of death
and it was there You
set my body and my mind free
Thank You Lord,
that at the lowest times
of my life
You were there
You kept me
alive
through those years
of sickness and near death
in order
that today,
I can share
About whom You are
and about how You care,
about all of us,
so much
Lord,
open our
blind eyes please,
so we may see You ...
and feel
Your wonderful touch.
