My Legacy
When I
come, to the
end, of my journey
of life here, on this earth
I want
to leave my
legacy behind
for someone's rebirth
I'd like
to be known
as a lady who was nice
Who was
on fire for God
and to someone's
life, she added some spice
I want
to be remembered
as one who pointed
people to Jesus's feet
I also want
to be remembered
I fought the good fight
of faith and did not accept easily, defeat
I hope
this is not
presumptuous of me to say
But
also I want
to be known
In my Makers hand,
I was His clay
At the end
of my life, for me,
please do not shed many tears
Let them be
for all the others
who need Him to draw them near
The legacy
I leave you is
all my many words I write
I will
forever pray
Father forgive them,
with my spirit and all of my might.
