I Believe In God

I believe
in God
of the Bible
and in
Jesus Christ,
His son.

Who He sent
to earth,
to redeem us,
to be
reconciled to Himself
as one.

He came
in the flesh,
walked as we do,
showing His Father's desire.

To us,
He came,
as our Physician,
to heal our pain, our
muck and mire.

He asks
that we walk
as Jesus does, to
not hide His light within
To be the salt of the world,
to love as He loves,
to live free from sin.

We may
teach as He
did speaking words
of wisdom, to everyone
we meet.

Sharing what
we have
in
Him,
our new
nature,
God in action,
in
our words,
hands
and feet.
