Our Children NeedsThe tears of a mother is liquid prayers sent for her kids She asks God please protect them from the enemy, for their eternity she will bid She loves her babies, she covers them in an umbrella of prayer She asks His protection for them, as they go out, into places where angels do not dare Our children can get themselves into such a mess They need to know we are for them and to us they may come to and confess When they slip up and fall and get into trouble and need to talk We must be available to them, so they have no need to hide in themselves or to sulk They need our unconditional love to be there, not if, but, when they fall They need to know we are here for them 24/7, if and when they need to call The most difficult time of their life is in their teens They are wondering who am I? along with being raging hormone machines They may be so scared and lonely at this time in their life They need us to help them sort out all this strife Please ask your children, how they are doing, each and every day When they become mature, thank you, for your love mom, is what you will hear them say.
