THROUGH ANOTHER'S EYES

Open up your arms and let me come in
I want to be part of your kith and your kin
To find hearts and warmth in your smiles
A man would have to walk and travel many a mile

Feeling like a stranger from without
The door opens, with trepidation I walked within
Taking me on face value, the circle broke the chain
Like a piece of jigsaw puzzle I fitted right in.

Eating at their table drinking of their wine
Singing songs, guitar playing with the beat of time
Words were spoken stories they were told
From present times, looking back with fondness stories of old.

Looking into to there faces held by there gaze
Although they were of one, different in many ways
The night ended so quickly from the circle I walked away
Times were had and given and in my heart they will stay.
