Thank You Veterans
This is to all
the Veterans out there
I'd like to
thank you and to share
My heartfelt thanks
for what you have done
For your country
and your sacrifices
in the battles you have won
Let's see,
we have
World War 1 and 11,
Korea, Vietnam along
with the Gulf War as well
You are now
helping to liberate
Iraq citizens since their
leader has been overtaken and fell
I am
so grateful to all
of you, I can't express,
in words my admiration for you too
Many have come back
from battle in body bags,
you were injured and maimed
When you came
back from Vietnam
you were treated so badly and blamed
We have not given
you proper honor from that war
Please
forgive us
in your heart
and spirit some of us tore
Thank you
our Service Members
here is a hug and a salute for standing tall
You defend
Old Glory and
our country the
United States of America,
you answered the call
You have given
your country your
blood sweat and your tears
Thank you
for your devotion
to us, throughout all of your years.
