I come in the dark to take back my root
at dusk the singing birds switch on their eyes
your face hidden behind the tall pillar
the entire space dressed in tiny insects
microchips of star send their wishes to us
and the shining dewdrop in leaves and grass.
the silence of the earth gets on my nerves
i stretch my hand and get hold of your wrist
your bony fingers give a healing touch
slip off your dress and beauty inside
from the night to dawn your love overspills
i flow to you as river fills my veins.
i have no words for the brilliant black sky
and the grace of god-only you and I.
