The Face of Liberty
She stands like a beacon light
with open arms.
A haven in the night.
A safe refuge in the storms.
She's stood in troubled waters before.
She's the light that shines to our door.
She holds a torch and shines a light.
She's the lady freedom knows by sight.
Her torch lights a flame for others to see.
Her name is Liberty.
Our eagle flies in her light.
Across the water in freedom's flight.
All that know her looks
for this place that is free.
She's the face of Liberty.
