Another day closer!

Everyday it still rains here,
The clouds refuse to part,
The flowers have stopped growing,
The light is replaced by the dark,
The wind is as sharp as ice,
The leaves live on the ground,
The air is almost frozen,
And still words are no where to be found.
The silence echo's forth,
Through the empty glass maze,
The scent of black odors,
Are forever feeding this misty haze,
Though my clock is still ticking,
One day it has to end,
Everyday I still see Grey,
My eyes cannot defend,
I hate this loneliness,
The dead beats of my heart,
It's still only you I wait for,
Why did you have to part?
A repeated dull routine,
Over and over and over again,
But managed step by step,
And that's how I will remain,
For every step I take now,
For every mile I walk,
For every voice I hear,
For every word I talk,
For another moon I see,
For another job I do,
Makes me smile, because I know it means,
I'm that much closer to you.
