My Goals and DreamsDear Lord I need your help For my mind and soul are worn My life is in turmoil and confusion As I search for my destiny, my home Dear Lord I am most alone Yet I still press onward through the storm While obstacles are placed before and around me I try to remain faithful and calm Dear Lord please raise me up From all that would hender my progress Allow my spirit the power to soar Above all the viles of destruction and uselessness Dear Lord please guide, guard and protect me Give me peace and clarity of thought Give me strength to continue on and fight Less my life be wasted or lost Dear Lord please ask Our Father To forever bless and secure my seeds I ask that my nation be healed and resurrected I ask that I achieve all my goals and dreams Dear Lord I long to live And experience the best this world has to offer I ask that my forsight also be blessed Thru thee I pray, with humble request unto The Creator! crystyle.copyright2004 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
