Lost At Sea
Lost at sea...drifting away from everything
can't remember how to overcome...
strategies and common sense sailed some time ago
and the wind that once held me up
died when the black clouds covered my entire sky....
all the memories from the past drift by me
screaming and flaying
all my future is lost at sea....
I have been bitten by the sharks lost all the blood
one human can stand....nothing I ever do produces
my sea legs got clipped....
and the angels I think just shake their head and by past me
but the devil can't take what I won't set free....
my mind and my life swirls the under currents
and I continue to float still lost at sea....
still wondering when I will wake up
or will I always be stuck in this dream....
that has become my worst nightmare....
