Pick Up Your CrossLuke 9:23-27 If any man has a desire to go after Christ, Let him pick up his cross to be sacrificed; Whoever has a desire to keep his own life, Will have taken from him filled of strife; But whoever gives up his life for the Lord, Will keep it and inherit a Heavenly reward; What profits a man getting an entire world, But undergoes loss as God's plan unfurled? For if any man having a feeling of shame, So will the Son of man hearing his name; For when He comes in glory to adjudicate, It's in the glory of the Father to dedicate. Living your life for the Lord for the cross, Consider what transpired suffering loss; How many of us could even think of it, All of our worldly possessions to forfeit; We become too wrapped up in the earth, Forgetting the true meaning of a rebirth; God at the top of your list as a priority, In picking up your cross is not inferiority.
