Doing in the Name of Jesus

Colossians 3:12-16

Your behavior be marked by pity and mercy,
While being kind, meek, humble, in courtesy;
Being gentle to one another in forgiveness,
For the Lord surely shows you blessedness;
Most of all show your love to be complete,
As the peace of Christ shine as you meet;
Allowing Him for to rule within your heart,
As His throne is mounted never to depart;
For the purpose of God for a body of one,
Give your praise to God for victory won;
As the Gospel give you a wealth of wisdom,
Preparing to go to the Heavenly Kingdom.
Teach one another help in songs of praise,
Making melody to God in your hearts raise;
Whatever you do either in word or in deed,
Doing it in the name of Jesus and His creed.
Remember that as Christians to be a model,
Read the words as Jesus said in the Gospel;
We are the Body of Christ adopting His way,
Doing in the name of Jesus every single day.
