Angels In Soldiers Uniforms
My daughter and I took a little trip over the weekend
We stopped to have a meal on our way back home,
All of the sudden bunch soldiers came in
My daughter said mom that reminds me of,
My brothers and how much I miss them !
Brought me to tears she said,
you know in so many ways there like angels,
They serve so proudly sacrifice all for us our freedom!
Everyone welcome them that touched me deeply,
You never know when angels come knocking at your door so they say,
In this case they were in soldiers uniforms!
Has we were talking they said they had to land,
They were on their way to Afghanistan,
Encountering problems with the plane
They had to land in Maine,
One went on to say I'll never forget
That it was his fourth time deployed over seas
How is mom cried as she held him when he left,
As he was looking at me and my daughter
He didn't have to say anymore as a mother he spoken to my soul
Things happen for a reason,
I believe it's God intervention!
So I thank God for that one in a million chance,
We shook their hands thank and bless them,
In their eyes a special glow divine call and mission!
Though we may never see them again
I thank God for one moment intervention ,
Those angels in soldiers uniforms landed briefly in Maine.
