Take Your Power Back
You became
a victim in this
world today,
Someone took
advantage of you
and hurt you in many ways.
That rape
was not your
fault, it was a power
and control issue.
You did nothing
to deserve this,
here . . .
as I pass you a tissue.
Their infidelity
was a choice they
made with the other one.
This is their
issue yet want
to blame you,
they did it, it's done.
The abortion you had,
you thought
was the best way out,
You did not
realize many years
down the road it would
have an impact, you may shout.
Getting behind
the wheel of that
car after a night of drink,
But
I did not
feel drunk,
why did they
have to die, you may think.
It is time
to stop all this
blame and look at the strife,
It is you
that you hate,
but now it is okay
to take a good look at your life.
Today
is the day,
of your new life,
of your restored peace,
and your release.
When you
take your power back,
and be accountable, it is
then, all your pain will cease.
