Have You Ever?Have you ever had to lay in bed and count the cottage cheese on your bedroom ceiling? Your body racked in pain and you prayed to die, to be free from this horrible feeling? I was an observer in pain and also a participant. As I talked to God telling Him, Lord I just can't do this anymore, I can't. Have you ever taken a shower and all your energy you did spend? And just sat down and cried in sorrow, wishing energy is something, one could lend? Did you ever hear, from your boss, do not come back to work until your doctor releases you? Leaving my job that day, I was in a panic, I sat on the steps weeping into my hands too. Did you ever feel and watch, your hands, as a disease crippled them beyond use? The pain in the process was debilitating and I wanted to call a truce. I am one who was told twenty years before I would write a book. Looking at my hands now, what will I do? sobbing between my words, to God, as I shook. Debra McGee Trammell 11-08-04 Psalm 103:1-5 NKJV 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Isaiah 26:3 NKJV You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
