The Book of Remembrance

Malachi 3:13-16

Your words being strong against the Lord,
Such words can be sharper that a sword;
To say that it is no use in worshipping God,
For if you did you would feel like a fraud;
And what profits you of abiding in His laws,
Walking mournfully before Him with flaws;
Ones with pride seem happy and doing well;
Another in a one-night stand with a jezebel;
You put God to the test and seem secure,
No straight and narrow rather on a detour;
While others fear the Lord as often speaks,
Recorded in the book everyone that seeks.
Those that show respect can be assured,
As the faith is strong and not easily lured;
Their name remains in the book in this life,
Looked at by God to help you through strife;
But those given up in doing their own thing,
As trouble hits they have no God to cling;
Then as you leave this earth He reads it,
Ones in the book of remembrance to inherit.
