WITH HALF FROZEN FEET
Early morning Christmas day,
The children waking how they played,
Six o'clock the screams came out,
Santa's been of this no doubt.
So up we got just gone to bed,
Tiered weary with heavy heads,
To the tree where presents lay,
For Santa brought them on his sleigh.
The children unwrapped all their toys,
Of cause the ones that made the noise,
When out the window children spy,
The white stuff falling from the sky.
Within a hour the snow was deep,
To walk out side you'll loose your feet,
Then of course you got it right,
The children they all went out side.
In half an hour they all came in,
With Half-Frozen feet and dripping skin,
Around the fire they all sat,
In fresh warm cloths and woolly hats.
Now when winter comes to pass,
My children they are not so fast,
To go out side in fluffy snow,
They stay in doors with us you know.
