What Words? #256
What Words? If God should grant me here but one more day, What would I write to you? What would I say? My words alone would not be proof enough To evidence the wisdom of his love... And if by chance the stars might dim from view, What might I give to show his heart to you? The riches of this world would ne'er suffice In payment for his awesome sacrifice... And if today he came back in the clouds, How might I catch my breath to speak out loud Above the happy choir of sainted song What Joy! What Peace! alone to him belongs? So, how might I explain to you these things Beyond the joyous flap of angels wings? I can't -- I know -- It's destined from above that only Jesus bring to you his Love.
